Defenseability – An Integrative Approach To Individual Self Defense

In this workshop, Jan Bloem will teach an approach on Self Defense with focus on your movement qualities, boundaries and possibilities.

Far too often, we are told about „how to move right“, how to strike, hit and defend ourselfes against others. And most of the time, we are also told to move and fight in a way some famous guy did in the past. The inventor of a self defense system somewhere in Israel, the inventor of a certain martial art somewhere in China… But what if his way of moving and his methods of self defense just wont work for you? What if you simply cannot push yourself into an adrenaline rush to bite and scratch like a wild cat, because you are NOT a wild cat?

Assuming that every individual brings individual qualities and an inert knowledge for movement and even Self Defense, there should be a way of Self Defense that actually works for you. Let’s find out!
