Bagua Zhang Practice Session – Köln

This Workshop is open to Bagua Students who joined our Bagua Zhang Basics Workshop, Online Students and of course local members of our school.

We will spend the day practicing Circle Walking, Tian Gan, Straight Line Forms and Applications. With a special focus on the so called Ba Da Kaishou, the 8 Opening Methods and Breathing Methods.

Every martial encounter starts with an opening, either reactive or active. Taking the initiative as soon as possible is the over- arching goal of every opening we learn. Moving out of the power line of our opponent into various angles, changing speed, making use of momentum and understanding timing, distance and different qualities of contact and frames… the list is long: Let’s get started!
